The Joys and Ways of Life
So many different ways of life. So many different colors and languages. How does anyone
find the time to choose which is best for them? There are really so many variables here it is
hard to say which is or isn't best for any one person. I would venture to say that the most
common of them all is location, finances and the ability to determine our own personal likes
needs and wants, as well as those likes, needs and wants of the our companion to be.
Drugs and Alcohol
These two things are probably the most dreaded of all lifestyles that anyone would like to consider.
Not because drugs or alcohol are all that bad, it's just because many of us have witnessed or have
participated in the overindulgence of drugs and/or alcohol and seen the monsters these two mind
and body altering chemicals have inflicted or are inflicting upon our loved ones or ourselves. Personally,
I wish we could all live a drug and/or alcohol free life, but realistically I know this is not possible.
Having a Great Time in Life
Whether you occassionally drink or not, the object to having a great time in life is enjoying or
sharing your experiences with others. Sure we can have a great time by ourselves and sure we
do not have to share it with anyone, but it is not the same nor is it as exhilarating as it is when we
do it with someone else. And the memories well, they often speak for themselves as you and your
partner recount them together.
Sometimes Opposites Attract
While the north and south poles on a magnet will always attract each other, it is not always the case
for opposites in human nature. Yet, often we will find a skinny man with a huge woman or vice a
versa. We see people of different colors dating each other more and more today. We see beauties
with beasts and older with younger. It's all about personal tastes and in some circumstances of
opposites getting together it's a matter of neccessity.
In other cases, it could be more extreme, that
opposites are with each other and it gets kind of questionable as to why they are a couple, but there
they are together. So in many instances, opposites do attract.
I guess it all depends on how we feel at the time we become attracted to the person we find to be
the one most favorable to us.
Lifestyles of the Average Person
This would probably be one of the biggest factors in being with your present or future mate. You
have to have similar interests in alot of areas. Although the person you choose to be with should
have some level of independence and should like to do some things on their own, many things
must be of similar or of the same interests as yours. This, I think, reduces conflict and in many areas
and often times compromises that would not have to be made, if you have basic interests that are
suitable to and compliment each other.
Many average people know that discussion is better than conflict, so talk it out first before you
dive head long into a relationship that may end in disaster.
In Conclusion
Tell me that you would love to? Tell me about yourself, what do you like most about life?
Where do you like to spend your free time? All are matters of what we would like to hear
about someone we are considering dating or even being with in a long term relationship. It is
one of the facts of life to want to know that we are compatible with and we share the same ideas
of another person before we get involved in a steady relationship with them or even go on a date
with them.
