A Matter of Choice
Years ago would I have believed that I would have written this piece, I would have told you no.
And today well here I am telling you that there is now a choice as to what gender you prefer.
I fully understand the need for same sex relationships and really do not have any problems with
them for the people who choose to be in a same sex relationship. Yet, this is another one of those
things that you have to decide what is best for you. No-one can tell you what is or isn't good for
you - only you can decide this one and don't let anyone tell you differently.
If There is a Heaven
There must be a hell. There are no other bones about it. One can not exist without the other.
Heterosexual or Homosexual neither could exist without the other. And yet, people will tell
you that you are going to hell for engaging yourself in a same sex relationship. I will tell you
I think it is a bunch of hog wash myself, cause really there is nothing wrong with it, for those
who choose to engage in it. As for me, I am a hetero. I love my woman. Doesn't mean I will
go to heaven for it - just means that I have decided what works best for me.
An Age Old Question
What are we here for, what is our purpose? First, there is nature. And in nature like anything
else there is need. A need for this and a need for that. For whatever the reason, the earth and
the universe needs every animal and insect in it that comes here, including the human being.
Having knowledge of our primary duty or function in the order of things helps us understand
of our purpose. That primary duty is to recreate ourselves or procreate. This is what the sexual
organs were given to us for and why women give birth. Without the ability to reproduce
ourselves, we would soon fail to exist and in this failure, we will perish, each and everyone of
us.
The American Indians have a cool way of looking at it all. They are keepers of the earth and
all that is in it. They must live in harmony with all things living or non-living. While they provide
care for the earth, wind and sky, this includes the water and everything that is here physically
and spiritually, it protects them and provides them with the security of comfort in their
environment. Unfortunately, they were savagely beaten into almost extinction by a greedy
people. Only by the grace of god were they spared total innihilation. Complete repression
of their ways was prevented. But their ability to reproduce has unfortunately been damaged
so badly that we may see them eventually perish.
Everyone of us are unique to ourselves. Whether it be a slightly different hair, skin or eye color
or the differences in our own personal anatomy, we are different. Each and everyone of us
are valuable assets in the scheme of the universe or on our earth. What we have to contribute
to it, is equally as valuable. Some of us will fall short of our full contribution to our world, but
our value is not dimished in the least.
Gender, Life and Us
For whatever reason, whether it is physical or enviromental, there will always be those who have
a desire to find companionship in same sex relationships. We must have an understanding about
same sex relationships, it seems it has always been and will always be a part of life. Yet, respectfully
I love the opposite sex. I couldn't have made a better choice with my mate and companion I now
have.
In Conclusion
Oh how the times have changed. No longer are most of us concerned with the passions of the heart
when it comes to the opposite sex. Some of us have found the comfort they need by choosing a
mate from the same sex as they are. While this is good for them, I would not nor could I recommend
it for anyone else. All I can say is to remember your priimary purpose here upon this earth and you
will never have a problem with deciding what you should or should not do. Nothing is right or wrong
for us unless it affects us personally. What others do for and with themselves, only they can decide
what is or isn't good for them and as with us, we have to respect each others opinions, it is the only
way to survive in this world today.
